Annual Day

6:00 am and all is ready.

Glenn Robertson has been up all night preparing the meat for sandwiches.

Jim and Ruth Maxwell enjoy the food at the biscuits and gravy tables.

Bob Morgan of the Wheatfield Church of Christ always has hot coffee all day on our Annual Day.

 We have a HUGE GARAGE SALE on in the gymnasium on Annual Day. Thousands and thousands of items for sale. Toys, clothes, tools, books etc.... 

 What should I expect when I visit Shults-Lewis on Annual Day?

Tents, Booths, Garage Sale, Auctions, Food, Fellowship, Tours, Information, Fun, Games, Crafts, Deserts, Refreshments, a Great Way to Spend a Day, and more!

 

The displays are under the big tent so rain or shine Annual Day goes on.

 

Gerald greets visitors as they arrive and takes change cans and printer cartridges that are collected for Shults-Lewis.

 

Visitors gather for tours of the campus.

 

Tables are outside and under tents for eating and gathering.

 

Local talent is brought in to entertain people.

Quilts are held up for display during the auction. Many of the quilts are hand stitched by ladies who then donate them to Shults-Lewis.

 

Now, the end of a long day and countless hours of volunteers that make it all possible.
